powerplant:1 pratt and whitney 500 hp 9 cylinder air cooled radial piston engine

armament:2 7.62 mm machine guns

achivements:first mass produced all metal american fighter

notes:in one unit,p-26's were kept in service until 1955 in guatemala.versitile,but easily outclassed by japaneese fighters during ww2.
